The Littlest Reed
My husband and I have one son whose 6yrs old, AJ. AJ was diagnosed at 2yrs old with autism. We were both nervous about having another baby so we just didn't. Well on December 2, 2008 our minds were changed when we saw those two little blue lines. This blog will chronical the pregnancy of the newest Reed.

What was that?
A few nights ago Hubby and I were laying in bed talking. He had his hand on my belly when our little butter bean decided to start the daily yoga workout...lol. Well hubby said "Whoa, what was that?" Shocked I asked him if he felt that and he said yes. When I told him it was the baby he got very quiet and just enjoyed the moment.
Today I am 19wks 1 day.
Cravings: nothing right now.

18wks
Today I'm 18wks along. I am feeling pretty good for the most part, just kinda sore. Last week I pulled a muscle and strained a ligament. Now before I get flamed let me explain what happened. Last Sunday we were driving back from Canada (8-9hrs) and AJ was doing great. Well we stopped to get something to eat and he threw a tantrum and flopped on the floor. I tried to get him off the floor and ended up pulling a muscle in my side. I saw the doctor the next day and was told to take it easy. Well on Wednesday hubby and I picked up the crib and in the process of me moving a box I strained a ligament in my pelvic area. Again I was told to take it easy and I have followed this time and I'm feeling better just sore.
Today I've been in bed all day because AJ was home sick. Hopefully he'll feel better tomorrow because I really need to go food shopping.
Cravings - pancakes, sweets (fruits or jello), and pizza

Moving Along
I am finally starting to feel pretty good and more like myself. I am still really tired, but that has to do with my low iron. It was explained to me that the baby is taking all the iron available in my body so there isn't much left for me. I've been eating a lot of broccoli, romaine lettus, and spinach to try and help out some, but I'm still exhausted. Honestly, I would rather deal with sleepy than pukey any day so I guess it's a fair trade...lol.
This coming weekend (3/6 - 3/8) we are driving to Canada for my grandma's 90th birthday. Hopefully I'll continue to feel great throughout the weekend and have a great time with my mom's side of the family.
